JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
2. Create and maintain database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
3. Perform data analysis and profiling to identify data quality issues and ensure data integrity.
4. Optimize and tune ETL processes for performance and scalability.
5. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for data integration projects.
6. Work closely with data architects and database administrators to design efficient data models and schemas.
7. Develop and maintain documentation for ETL processes, data mappings, and data dictionaries.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration, performance, and data quality.
9. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data integration and ETL technologies.
10. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
11. Support production deployments and provide post-implementation support as needed.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Proven experience as an SSIS Developer or similar role, with at least X years of experience.
3. Strong proficiency in SQL and T-SQL programming.
4. Hands-on experience with SQL Server and database management systems.
5. In-depth understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing principles, and dimensional modeling.
6. Experience with performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes.
7. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Relevant certifications such as MCSE: Data Management and Analytics or similar certifications are a plus.
