JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conceptual Design and Planning:

   • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project objectives, budget constraints, and aesthetic preferences.
   • Develop initial design concepts, sketches, and renderings to visualize architectural solutions.
   • Conduct site evaluations and feasibility studies to assess environmental, regulatory, and structural considerations.

2. Design Development and Documentation:

   • Translate conceptual designs into detailed architectural drawings, plans, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
   • Coordinate with engineering consultants, contractors, and suppliers to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems into architectural designs.
   • Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and other legal requirements throughout the design process.

3. Project Management and Coordination:

   • Lead project teams, including architects, designers, and engineers, to establish project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
   • Prepare project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion within budget constraints.
   • Facilitate communication and coordination between all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

4. Construction Oversight and Quality Assurance:

   • Conduct periodic site visits to monitor construction progress, resolve design issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
   • Review shop drawings, material samples, and mock-ups to verify compliance with project requirements and design intent.
   • Address construction-related challenges and implement design modifications as necessary to maintain project integrity.

5. Client Engagement and Relationship Management:

   • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and budgetary considerations.
   • Solicit client feedback and incorporate input into design revisions and project adjustments as needed.
   • Cultivate long-term relationships with clients through exceptional service, professionalism, and commitment to excellence.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Professional licensure (Registered Architect) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design and project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects of varying scale and complexity.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other architectural design software.
• Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality assurance and project delivery excellence.
